Tribal police turn over men in abuse cases

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2001 Tribal police from the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana on Wednesday arrested and turned over two men charged in the abuse and death of two children. Elmer Red Eagle Jr., 34, was indicted for involuntary manslaughter of his eight-week-old son. The boy was found dead June 22. In a separate case, Anthony Fourstar, 32, was indicted of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. He is alleged to have committed a sexual act with a child under 12. Tribal police turned the men over to federal authorities. Get the Story:
