Snoqualmie Tribe seeks trust land

The Snoqualmie Tribe of Washington has asked the Bureau of Indian Affairs to take 56 acres of land into trust.

The tribe is landless and only recently gained federal recognition. The tribe plans on using the land to build a casino and lodge and will brief a local city council about its plans tonight.
