A jury in Montana on Monday night convicted a man of two counts of kidnap and assault in a case involving three Native boys.

Nathaniel Bar-Jonah was convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Native boy and of assaulting an 8-year-old. He was acquitted of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old while the jury deadlocked on sexual assault of the 8-year-old

Native child psychologists testified in the trial and said the boys' heritage should be considered when a jury heard their stories.

Bar-Jonah faces separate murder charges for the death of another boy.
