BIA issues warning on driving

In response to a recent deadly accident involving an employee, the Bureau of Indian Affairs in New Mexico has issued a warning on drinking and driving.

The southwest regional office in Albuquerque told employees that driving under the influence will not be accepted. An employee of the region is facing second-degree murder charges for an accident that left four people dead.
