Navajo killer guilty of all counts

A jury in New Mexico on Thursday convicted a man of first-degree murder charges for stabbing a Navajo woman to death.

Robert Ray Fry was found guilty on all the kidnapping, attempted rape and murder charges against him. The verdict came after more than seven hours of deliberation, reported The Farmington Daily-Times.

Fry stabbed Betty Lee to death in June 2000. Co-defendant Leslie Engh pleaded guilty and testified against him.

Fry faces the death penalty.
