The Potawatomi contend that this new casino will have a severe environmental impact. The Bureau of Indian Affairs in their study of the casino concluded that the Menominee casino would not have a significant affect. The Menominee casino is different from other Indian casinos in the state because the casino will have an 8 percent "net win" instead of the 3 percent "net win" that others currently have. Gov.
