Menominee casino getting priority review

JANUARY 18, 2001 The Bureau of Indian Affairs is giving top priority to reviewing an off-reservation casino proposed by the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin. But if it doesn't receive approval before Saturday, the new George W. Bush administration will have to consider it. The tribe has already entered into a compact with the state for the Kenosha casino.
