Neb. gaming amendment fails

FEBRUARY 13, 2001 The Nebraska Legislature's General Affairs Committee on Monday voted 4-4 on a constitutional amendment to allow casino-style gaming on reservations in the state, effectively klling the proposal. Supporters said they could try to resurrect it later this year or next. An initiative petition might also be considered. Get the Story:
