Foxwoods slot profits up

The Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut, on Thursday reported slot machine profits of $62.2 million for February 2001.

The figure represents an increase of $11.8 million during February 2000. As required by the tribes compacts, 25 percent, or $15.5 million, goes to the state.
