APRIL 27, 2000 The Red Lake Ojibwe band in Minnesota are about to embark on a $22 million expansion of their River Road Casino. The groundbreaking is scheduled May 10 and the tribe is still awaiting bids for the project. It will include an indoor water park and a 150- to 250-room hotel. The tribe also has other economic development projects, including a bottled-water plant and a manufactured-home plant. Get the Story:
