APRIL 3, 2001

Arguments for a lawsuit that aims to declare Indian gaming in Arizona illegal are scheduled for April 10.

The suit was filed by race track operators who protest Indian gaming and its expansion.

The tracks may soon benefit from the profileration of new gambling devices that look like slot machines. A bill that would regulate them has stalled in the Arizona Legislature.
