Mont. tribes awarded manufacturing grant

MAY 30, 2001 The tribes on the Fort Peck Reservation have been awarded a $409,620 from the Department of Commerce, Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) and the tribes announced on Tuesday. The tribe will use the Economic Development Administration to purchase equipment for its manufacturing business. The reservation is home to the Assiniboine and Sioux tribes. Get the Story:
