MAY 4, 2000 San Ildefonso Pueblo will receive $2M from the US Department of Energy and Los Alamos County in New Mexico. The payment is part of an agreement between the tribe and the DOE over an easement on NM State Road 4. The easement is for 30 years. The Pueblo had nearly come to placing blocks on the road, until a late agreement was made on Sunday. Get the Story:
