MAY 4, 2001 The state of Utah has collected a $2,000 fine from a cigarette firm based on the Tuscarora Reservation in New York. The Attorney General's Office says Smokin Joes didn't deposit potential litigation funds into an escrow account as required by law. Manufacturers who didn't agree to the master tobacco settlement with states have to deposit money into the fund. Get the Story:
