Mohegan Tribe increases per caps

JUNE 1, 2001 The Mohegan Tribal Council last month voted to increase yearly per capital payments from its financially successful casino by $2,000 to $12,000. The increase will cost the tribe $18 million. The money is distributed to about 1,500 tribal members. The vote was 6-2 to increase the payments. Get the Story:
