JUNE 7, 2000 The Stockbridge-Munsee Community of Mohican Indians in Wisconsin said they will purchase a 2-acre parcel of land in order to develop a cultural center in their ancestral lands. The land is located 3 miles away from the site the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York plan to use to host a casino. Get the Story:
