Mohegan Sun focuses on employees

JUNE 8, 2000 The Mohegan Sun Casino owned by the Mohegan Tribe opened a center dedicated exclusively to the wellness of their employees Wednesday. The center contains a 24 hour athletic facility, a bank, a dry cleaners, and a computer center that employees can use to surf the Internet and learn new computing skills. The training facility for slot machines and table games was moved to this facility, as well as human resources center. A doctor is also available on site. While the tribe does not currently have child care for their employees, the tribal chairman, Roland J. Harris, says that they are currently investigating that option. Get the Story:
