Morongo casino gives $1M jackpot

JULY 25, 2000 Casino Morongo, owned by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians in California, made longtime patron Tom Simanton's life over a million dollars richer. He won the $1,045,906 jackpot at a progressive slot. It took over 2.5 years to accumulate, requiring a $3 maximum bet to win the progressive prize.
