Pequot Tribe concerned about Mohegan expansion

FRIDAY, AUGUST 10, 2001 Concerned about a $1 billion expansion being taken by a fellow tribe, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is taking steps to ensure employees of its casino are happy. Managers at Foxwoods Resort Casino believe their employees are offered strong benefits. But they say some may leave to work for the Mohegan Tribe, part of whose expansion debuts this fall.
