The gaming market in Connecticut is potentially large enough to withstand several casinos, analysts say.

Going by Las Vegas, the analysts say the state is in its infancy. Las Vegas keeps expanding and the customers keep coming, they said.

The state has two tribally-owned casinos, one by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the other by the Mohegan Tribe. Both have been expanding and the head of marketing at the Foxwoods Casino, owned by the Pequot Tribe, says more gaming is welcomed.

As many as four tribes could be opening casinos within the next five years.
