The majority of Texans want Indian gaming legalized, according to a new poll.

Nearly 70 percent of respondents wanted laws changed to allow the Tigua Tribe to keep its casino open, according to the El Paso Times / KVIA-ABC 7 poll. A federal judge has ordered the casino, located near El Paso, be shut down.

A bill to legalize gaming on the state's three reservations has failed to clear the Legislature.
