Woman misses out on $1 million prize

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2001 Don't ever say the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin operates on Indian time because it sure didn't on Saturday night. The casino chose Barbara Huffman as the winner of a $1 million prize. Her name was randomly selected by a computer but since she wasn't there to claim the money within 10 minutes, another winner was eventually selected. Huffman had intended to make it on time but said an airport delay caused her to miss the drawing. Get the Story:
