Wyo. tribe seeks slot machines

THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2002 Citing high unemployment and a need for revenue, the Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming wants to operate Class III games, said a spokesperson. The tribe wants to offer slot machines and table games. A federal court has approved calcuttas and pari-mutuel gaming, which are types of Class III, but not slots. Get the Story:
