The Native American Bank of Montana is planning on establishing another branch this summer.

The bank was formed after a group of tribes and Alaska Native corporations took over the Blackfeet National Bank on the Blackfeet Reservation. Elouise Cobell, the lead plaintiff in the Individual Indian Money (IIM) class action, was the founder of the Blackfeet bank.

NAB has assets of $26 million. The American Banker doesn't say which reservation the new location is planned.
