Maine town rejects tribal casino

The town council in Kittery, Maine, voted last night to reject any and all casino development.

The town officially banned the use, construction or renovation of any building for a casino. The move was in response to a proposal by the Penobscot Nation and the Passamaquoddy Tribe to host a casino in the town.
