The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is settling a lawsuit over a proposed golf course and resort.

The tribe and its partner are agreeing to certain conditions on development, reports The New London Day. A local commission has accepted the compromise.

The tribe will be building two 18-hole courses, a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse and guest villas around the man-made Lake of the Isles. The land is not held in trust.
