Is it the Third World or is it the United States? The dispute over the Presidential race continues.

GORE: I AM THE PRESIDENT
Vice President Al Gore launched a media campaign on Wednesday, asserting that he is the rightful winner of Florida's 25 electoral votes and hence, the Presidency.

Gore appeared on all the three major networks, plus CNN yesterday. The main message: If every vote is counted like it should be, I am the winner.

Lawmakers in Florida, on the other hand, appear to be ready to call a special session to ensure the state's 25 votes go to Texas Governor George W. Bush. His brother, Governor Jeb Bush of Florida, says he would sign such a measure into law.

CHENEY: I AM THE VICE-PRESIDENT
Meanwhile, alleged Vice President-elect Dick Cheney has been setting up their administration. Cheney on Wednesday announced the opening of a 20,000-square-foot office in the surburbs of Washington, DC.

Since the General Services Adminstration won't release federal funds to them, Cheney again called on donations to help the campaign out.

BUSH: I AM AT THE RANCH
Bush on the other hand kept it on the down low yesterday. Retired General Colin Powell is on his way to Bush's ranch in Texas and is considered to be the top choice for Secretary of State, a position currently held by Madeleine Albright.

No word on whether Senator Slade Gorton (R-Wash) has received a plane ticket. He's busy waiting out the mandatory recount in Washington, poised to lose the race to Democrat Maria Cantwell.

BALLOTS: WE ARE ON OUR WAY
Over 1 million ballots from South Florida are on their way today to Tallahassee. Will they be counted? Burned? Used to build a float? A hearing on Saturday is set to decide their fate.
