Recounts continue in Florida

DECEMBER 19, 2000 Media organizations and other watchdog groups are continuing their own recounts of ballots in Florida and the results may or may not prove George W. Bush to be the winner. The results will probably not all be the same, either. Depending on the standard used to count votes and perhaps the biases of the people doing the counting, each of the dozen or so groups doing the tallying will have different outcomes. Get the Story:
