Senate confirms Whitman for EPA

JANUARY 31, 2001 The full Senate on Tuesday confirmed former New Jersey Govenror Christine Todd Whitman as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Unlike the vote for President George W. Bush's other environmental nominee, the Senate voted unamimously to confirm Whitman. Get the Story:
