MARCH 29, 2001 The American Indian population in Minnesota over the past decade grew either by 10.1 percent or 62.4 percent, depending on how one looks at the Census 2000 figures released on Wednesday. Some 54,967 respondents who identified themselves as solely Indian. The number jumped to 81,074 when respondents of multiple races are included. Get the Story:
