In an editorial today, the Sioux Falls Argus Leader says new gaming compacts which prohibit tribes from making political contributions are troublesome.

The paper says tribes shouldn't be denied a voice through political contributions. Even though 7 out of 8 tribes have agreed to the provision and don't contribute much money currently, the paper says they shouldn't even be asked to agree to limit political donations.
