Condit promises full cooperation

TUESDAY, JULY 10, 2001 Thourgh his attorney, California Congressman Gary Condit (D) on Monday promised he would be available for any and all investigations into the disappearance of Chandra Levy, a former government intern with whom he has admitted having an affair. Condit said he would go so far as providing DNA evidence to Washington, DC, police who have been investigating Levy's disappearance. Levy, 24, has been missing since April 30. Levy's mother is also calling on Condit, 53, to take a lie detector test, saying he has not been truthful about his relationship. Get the Story:
