FRIDAY, AUGUST 3, 2001 President Bush on Thursday nominated three New Mexicans to fill positions in the US Attorneys office and the federal judiciary. David Iglesias has been tapped for the US Attorney slot. He currently works for a law firm in Albuquerque. New Mexico Court of Appeals Judge M. Christina Armijo and state District Judge William P. "Chip" Johnson have been nominated as judges in US District Court in New Mexico. All the nominations are subject to Senate confirmation. In related judiciary news, the Senate on Thursday confirmed William J. Riley to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Get the Story:
