WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2001 Department of Interior nominee Steve Williams is still on hold at the Senate in what one Republican called "blackmail." Williams is President Bush's pick for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Democrats held up his nomination over a duck-hunting controversy but that dispute was cleared. However, Democrats are still holding back Williams. A Senate committee has held a confirmation hearing but has not voted on advancing the nomination. Get the Story:
