WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2002 Sharon Clahchischilliage is seeking the Republican nomination to run for New Mexico's secretary of state. Clahchischilliage is Navajo from San Juan County. She served in the first Bush administration as a public health commissioner, was a tribal liaison to the state of New Mexico on health issues and directed the Navajo Nation's Washington, D.C., office at one time.
