FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2002

Still recuperating at a secret location since nearly being shot to death, Jim Shore isn't planning on quitting his job as general counsel for the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

Shore, who is blind, was shot three times at close range. He tells The Miami Herald he isn't worried about why or who did it.

Authorities are investigating the shooting but have made no arrests. Shore has been part of a dispute involving the ouster of former chief Jim Billie.
