Thorpe medals being donated to museum

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2001 The daughter of Sac and Fox sports legend and Olympian champion Jim Thorpe is donating his medals, awards and other memorabilia to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. The donation will be made today by Grace Thorpe at the Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital. The company that makes Wheaties recently announced Thorpe will be placed on the cereal box. Get the Story:
