Tribe gets new ambassador

OCTOBER 10, 2000 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has created a new position in its tribal government - ambassador. Jayne Fawcett was named to the post. She has been the vice chair of the council and the tribe's spokesperson. Fawcett was elected to the position last week at the council meeting. She will represent the tribe at various events and to the press. Get the Story:
