Cabazon powwow raises funds

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2001 The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians of California held a powwow this weekend, drawing thousands and raising funds to aid victims of September 11's terrorist attacks. More than 25,000 people attended the Thunder and Lighting Powwow, said an employee. They traveled from all over the country to take part in the event and to donate money. Get the Story:
