A recent visit by Tom Cruise to a drug rehabilitation center in Oklahoma caused a small ruckus.

Cruise and a group were in a plane on their way to the Narconon Arrowhead Drug Rehabilitation and Prevention Services facility in Arrowhead. Nearby observers thought the small plane dropped something as it flew over the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, leading to a lockdown of the Army site.

It turns out nothing was dropped by the plane. The plane was trying to land at a local airport and the pilot apparently mistook the plant for a landing strip.

The drug facility is located on land formerly owned by the Choctaw Nation. The tribe sold the 256-acre resort to a group affiliated with the Church of Scientology for $1.9 million last year.

The group then leased the site to the drug facility, which was formerly hosted at the Chilocco Indian School in Newkirk. But the tribes who owen the school site got tired of the rehab when money promised by the venture never came in.
