Editorial: NMAI museum 'long overdue'

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2001 In an editorial today, The Sioux Falls Argus Leadre says the new National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., is "long overdue." But since the musuem has a large task in focusing on nearly 600 tribes throughout the country, the paper says it can't meet everyone's expectations right away. So the paper says the public has to let the museum to find its way. The museum is set to open in 2004. Get the Story:
