TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2001

In an editorial today, The Norwich Bulletin says the leaders of two Connecticut towns should keep talking with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation over trust land.

While the tribe's offer may be far from perfect, the paper says, it is "constructive." The proposal may not address all the issues raised by the towns, but "that's what negotiations are all about," says the paper.
