Keep the River on Your Right
While he lived with tribe called the Arakmbut in the remote jungles of Peru for several months in 1956, Tobias Schneebaum said he participated in a raid on a nearby village and later ate the flesh of the dead victims.

Schneebaum documented his experience in a book called "Keep the River on the Right," released in 1969. He is now the subject of a documentary film of the same name.
