A gun that was fired by a Cheyenne warrior in the Battle of Little Bighorn has been sold to a private collector for a record $684,500. The gun was marked with Cheyenne "stick figures." The gun was acquired 50 to 60 years ago from the Rosebud Sioux reservation in South Dakota.

The auction occured in Fairfield, Maine.
