In an editorial today, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer said a federal judge in Idaho was wrong to side with the state, a paper company, and the Kootenai Tribe and prevent the government from implementing a set of rules affecting forest lands.

The paper says the judge's ruling conflicts with the mission of preserving national forests.
