Mashantucket Chairman to prove heritage

MAY 18, 2000 Kenneth Reels, the Chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation said he will prove his tribe's genealotigal heritage tonight on a local Connecticut cable access program. Reels will present personal family documents that show the tribe's relationship to the historic Pequot tribe. A recent book, Without Reservation claims the Mashantucket Pequot have no genealogical relationship to the historic tribe. Get the Story:
