An Alaska Native man is suing a national grocery chain because he says he was unfairly terminated for having long hair.

Frank Miller, 57, was a grocery clerk at a liquor store that was bought by Safeway, whose policies ban long hair. Miller had been asked to cut his hair but refused.

Miller says his freedom of speech and privacy rights have been violated.
