Nez Perce keep tradition alive

The Nez Perce Tribe of Idaho are keeping their horse breeding, riding, and raising tradition alive with the introduction of a new horse breeded from the Appaloosa, which they developed, and the akhal-teke, a Central Asian war horse.

The tribe's horse program has two full-time employees and 80 horses.
