SEPTEMBER 14, 2000

Richard Butler, the founder of the Aryan Nations, has filed an intent to appeal a $6.3 million judgment against the white supremacist group.

Butler, however, did not post an appeal bond that would prevent the property of the group from being seized. A writ of execution was signed earlier this week, authorizing law enforcement in Idaho to seize the Aryan Nations property in order to settle the judgment.
