Gover was an 'angry young man'

SEPTEMBER 22, 2000

During his days as an undergraduate student at Princeton University in New Jersey, Kevin Gover said he was an "angry young man" and participated in anti-apartheid protests against the school.

Like the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates, the Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs is making his own talk-show rounds, of sorts. But instead of appearing on David Letterman or The Oprah Winfrey Show, Gover has been conducting interviews with several newspapers and other media, due to his imminent departure from the Department of Interior.

He told the New York Times he is ready to practice Indian law in the nation's capital once he leaves his job.
